Gray Days, Sunny Flowers

Although most days I prefer sunshine, I must admit that the clouds in North Carolina earlier this week made me happy. It had been SO hot and we hadn't even been able to enjoy the sunshine I love so much because it is impossible to breathe in the recent humidity. Plus, my pretty black-eyed-susans are blooming and they really pop against the gray sky.


Baby Boy was also happy to go exploring again; He is literally the busy baby on the block... and ready for football season :) Isn't he getting so big??

Turns out, baby boy and I aren't the only ones who find the gray/yellow combo appealing. It is a design palette I often see; an air of sophistication and class, with happy little acccessories.
