Weekend Review

Happy Monday, all. How was your weekend? I am not going to lie, we enjoyed not having plans and being able to relax at home, naturally though, we found many activities to make the weekend pass by too quickly.
The boys have started to play together, which warms my heart, while making me sad that Bennett is old enough to understand catch. Where'd my baby go?
Speaking of non-baby things, B has mastered the sippy cup
Not to be outdone, C told me to take a picture of him being 'bery, bery good wif mys sippy cup too'.
This is how they love each other.
Saturday, we went down to Pacific Grove for the Good Old Days Festival. Cullen held a baby chick.
And got a bag of kettle korn the size of himself.
Afterwards, we drove down to the point of Monterey to see the little bit of Spring that we get.

What Mommy, Cullen left it behind, the juice box is mine now.
O, have I mentioned that Bennett is the happiest kid that ever lived? Seriously, lights up my life.
Saturday afternoon, Cullen and I decided to make a house out of cardboard. Please note his curtains on the windows; you're welcome C's future wife.
Here he is in the finished product. It is now the gateway into the playroom and they just love it.
Saturday night, we met some friends at Spanish Bay on Pebble Beach for a cocktail. Please forgive the graininess of this picture; I didn't change my settings and it came out this way, but we so rarely have a pic of all of us, I still had to share.
Sunday was Church, followed by a birthday party up the street. Bennett took his first turn in the bouncy house with his 'big brother', Devin.
All the kids on the slide. Guess which 2 year old is now asking for a bouncy house at this 3rd birthday party?

Before we left, I snapped a few pictures of my friend Gosia's latest work. If you are in the market for furniture, pillows or curtains, be sure to check out her etsy site!
And one final picture: this is what happens when you have some tired boys eating dinner and making each other laugh.
All in all, we couldn't ask for a better few days.

What was the highlight of your weekend?

Love the playhouse, moms like you are the best and have the most playful, curious kids.

I thought nothing could be better than having my first daughter. Then when my second was born and seeing them hug and kiss, I realized that was truly the sweetest thing in the entire world.

You always seem to accomplish so much on the weekends! Unless you count church and the gym, I spent most of Saturday and Sunday just puttering around the house. Quit making me look lazy! :)
Oh, and little kids wearing plaid make me happy :)

Great pictures! It's so awesome that your boys have started to play together. The highlight of my weekend was enjoying a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.
