Did you go to college? What did you major in? -Eliza
I did attend college- 3 and a half glorious years at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. I had several AP credits from high school which allowed me to graduate early and it was a good thing I did because that spring when I should have still been in school is when Kev and I started dating and I was free to spend a lot of time in Savannah with him. I majored in English and minored in French. I loved my time at Auburn and can't wait to take Cullen and Bennett to their first football game.
Do you keep in contact with friends from school? -Marie
Yes! I have an amazing group of high school friends who I see every time I go home. I email with three of my girlfriends on a daily basis (you've seen them around here: they came to Winston and the farm). As for my college friends, I had a wonderful set of girlfriends during my time at Auburn and we don't see each other as often as we'd like, but we try to get together once a year. If I ever have a few spare minutes to gchat, they are the first ones I check in with.
Where's your favorite place to shop for yourself? -Joeylee
Ann Taylor Loft. I don't spend a lot of money on clothes for myself anymore, but I know my size in Loft and I know their styles fit me well. It is a great price point for me and an easy place to shop. I get most of my accessories at Francesca's.
If you could travel around the world, what 5 places would be included in your visits?-Kerry
Paris, South Africa, Fiji, Greece, New Zealand
What's a typical breakfast like? -Marie
Coffee.
During the week, Special K. On the weekends, Kev and Cullen always make breakfast: pancakes or eggs.
Favorite books? -Marie
I love books, so it is difficult to pick just one. The boys and I go to the library once a week and I always have something new on my nightstand. I am currently reading The Invisible Man by Chuck Klosterman, Hemingway's A Farewell to Arms and The Lost Gate by Orson Scott Card. I love the classics, weird books about religion, mysteries, essays on pop culture and anything that makes me think. I rarely read romance books (Nicholas Sparks makes me queasy).
I'd love to hear about your wedding/honeymoon. -Amanda
I recently shared the details of our wedding, and last year shared the story of how we met. For our honeymoon, we went to the Dominican Republic and stayed at the RIU Palace in Punta Canta. We had a great time, but it is not a place I would go back to. I got bored on the resort after a few days. We went on one 'adventure' outside of the hotel and got stuck on a boat with a lot of drunk Germans dancing to Dominican rap music and wearing throngs. True Story.
Nor Cal vs So Cal? -Megan
I can't answer this because I have never been to So. Cal! But here are a few things that I miss about the Mid-Atlantic:
-Feeling hot. Everyday in Monterey is 61. Everyday. All year. I would go crazy if we lived here forever. I can't wait to go home before a few weeks this summer and be able to leave the house without a sweater.
-Along the same lines, I miss having seasons.
-There is no crazy dense fog that settles in for days at a time.
-The cost of living is cheaper.
-And of course, I miss being close to family.
Thanks for the questions ladies! I still have two more segments of answers, so be sure to check back tomorrow for a lot of questions about babies. Hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!

Crazy!! We stayed at the RIU in Montego Bay. We left for a day on a boat and Kendol lost a tooth snorkeling.. True Story! Maybe these boats are cursed ha!
It's always do much fun to read the answers & learn a little more about people
This is really fun! I'm glad you did this :) xoxo! eliza
Awesome post! I love learning more about you! I agree that while the Monterey area is beautiful, I would miss the hotter weather I got used to in So Cal and even here in DC. That boat "adventure" looks totally nuts!
I'm a LOFT girl myself! And yeah I can totally relate to the crazy tourist story. There seem to be a lot of them around whenever one is on vacation! :) x
I love this! Thanks for sharing your answers!
You guys should take a trip down to Southern California when you can. I love it down there...especially the beaches!
I love Francesca's!!!!
Thank you for liking coffee and disliking Nicholas Sparks.
This is why we're friends :)
I love it when bloggers share more stories about their life! The photo of your honeymoon made me laugh!
Have a great day!

Thanks for including my question! And btw, you're not missing anything. NorCal > SoCal! Ha.
Ahhh, love hearing these! My favorites are that you get breakfast made for you on the weekends and the story about your honeymoon. Hilarious!
I would love to visit Paris!!
Fiji is really cheap to visit from Australia and New Zealand is supposed to be absolutely gorgeous!! Well worth the trip apparently!
I love getting to know you through these personal questions, I find that everyone truly is fascinating and inspires me in some way.
I wish I could let go and let the kids make me breakfast but I am so darn picky and like my oatmeal cooked a certain way with about a million things mixed in.
The kids make me breakfast on mothers day and as cute as it is, I am always thinking "I just wish I had my big ol' bowl of oatmeal".
