It has been a while since I linked up with {av} at Long Distance Loving for Friday Fancies, and I loved her prompt this week to take a European vacation, so I am bringing it back.
Speaking of bringing it back, here are some scrapbook pictures from the last time I went to Europe. (You know, scrapbooking, that time when you didn't know what the pictures looked like until you picked them up from CVS two days later? And then cut up said pictures to create a collage?)
My high school sponsered a Spring Break trip every year and my sophomore year, I was lucky enough to go on a 10 day trip to Greece. We spent 3 days in Athens, then took a 7 day cruise to several different islands. I will never forget it. However, as a 16 year old, I feel like I maybe didn't appreciate the country as much as I should have and I would love to go back with Kev one day.
So instead of my sweet sneakers and shorts look from 2000, I have upped my style to a date night look for an evening in Mikonos.
This high-low Dorothy Perkins green dress is perfect for a classy island feel. And paired with Lilly Pulitzer wedge heels, I'd be ready to walk around and explore or go dancing. I'd need a big enough bag to hold my camera and this Quilted tote bag does the trick. Lastly, some pretty accessories like: Miso set of bangle, $7.80 / Blu Bijoux tear drop earrings / Essie nailpolish /

To add on- "scrapbooking: that time way back when you HAD TIME to actually sit around and do something with your trip pictures." I don't think I even looked at a stack of pictures yesterday before I threw them in an album as fast as I could.
And to answer your question, I'd say Paris was pretty awesome. Way back in 2001 when I didn't appreciate the experience as much as I would now. Would LOVE to go to Greece or Italy though.

ahhh that dress is beautiful! And with those wedges is absolutely gorgeous! That's so cool you got to go! I went to Athens and Santorini after graduating high school and I kinda the feel the same way... I enjoyed it but I definitely didn't appreciate it as much as I would now! Maybe someday soon I can go back!

You know what I am off to Greece soon and i can't freaking wait ! It'll be so lovely to feel some hot sun on my skin.
I would like to visit Italy one day but it is so expensive even for us European folks !
