Another weekend complete.
Halfway through July already.
Where does the time go?
We started our weekend on Friday afternoon at Happy Hour on post. While friends were inside kicking off the weekend with beer, the boys were having a ball running around the rose garden.
Bennett's girlfriend, Baby Soph, made an appearance and he was o-so-happy for her company.
Wait for it....

Ever.
And another keeper of the boys and me.
Saturday morning, Bennett showed his affinity for playing trains.
And in the afternoon, we headed out to Carmel Valley (again) to find a piece of summer.
Sunday, we had a lazy morning, made it to 11am Mass and went out to lunch. Then, Kev headed to school to study and I enjoyed a little sun with my neighbor, Caitlin, while the boys napped (Yep, that's right, after 14 days straight of clouds, the sun finally came out in Monterey).
So after nap, we went to the big park downtown.
And finished the day with corn on the cob and bath time.
Another perfect weekend spent with my precious family.

It's so cute the way Bennett's hair practically "disappears" when wet. I don't think most babies would be smiling in that situation :)

I love the pictures of the boys playing in the gardens at post happy hour! It reminded me of doing the same with my siblings growing up near Dad's base.
