Spring Gifting

Is it just me or are there seemingly so many gifts to buy this time of year? With baby showers, birthdays, mother and father's day and graduations just around the corner, I have been spending a lot of time on Etsy looking for the perfect presents for my loved ones. I feel like I have come across some good stuff and thought I would share.

For the mom-to-be or new baby:
This amazing Burp Cloth for any sports fan. I used Jessica (this seller) to customize mine for a friend who is an a fan of another team and she said she can make one for anybody. I love it.

For Mom:
Monogrammed note cards . I don't think anyone can have enough stationary. I just recently ran out of my monogrammed set because I used it for everything: quick notes to friend, birthday cards, thank you notes. A monogrammed set is always classic and classy.

For Dad:
Tervis Tumblers. Fact: These are the greatest cups ever. And men can be hard to buy for.  Keeps your drink hot or cold and supports Dad's favorite team (or organization, or color, the options are endless)

For the Grad:
Collegiate Print. As our college seniors move into their first adult place, I think a print like this is a great memento to hang in a bathroom or kitchen to remember their time in college.
For the Kids:
Good Night Our World Books. We love this series of books. My mom has been collecting them for the boys from all the special places we have lived or visited. Good Night California is one of our favorite gifts to give since it represents our family right now.

For the Newlyweds:
Frame their invitation. My brother and sister in law gave this to us on our wedding day and six years later it still hangs proudly in our living room. I love the daily reminder of our union and plus, my mom  we put a lot of time, money and effort into those invites, it would be a shame to have it tucked away in a box somewhere.

What are some of your favorite gifts to give? I love new, unique ideas!

I've been shopping on Etsy like crazy lately! Or making things for people. We have had so many birthdays and weddings lately, there have been a TON of presents to buy. : )

P.S. I'm just getting caught up on all your posts...and can I just say your boys are the CUTEST! What a sweet little family you have. I hope all is well, but from all the great baseball and San Francisco pictures it seems like life has been pretty great!

I wish we would have saved an invitation from our wedding. Truth is, I don't think we even have one copy. Oy.

Great gift ideas!

I like personalized things too. I love Tervis but not everyone is a fan.
I like mongrammed totes from Lands End for baby showers. People LOVE them and I stuff them full of baby things.

My daughter has "Good Night, Wisconsin"! We should get her "Good Night, California," now, too...

Great list!

Yup you can never have too much stationary. I'm on the hunt now for stationary that can hold a 4x6 or 5x7 picture. We like to send pictures of Noah to his great gram and great great aunt and uncle (so they need physical prints) and its not easy to find a box of cards that will fit them. I had some super nice degas and monet cards that worked but I think I got them at a museum and they probably weren't the cheapest.

Those are great gift ideas!
I'm particular fond of the graduation one since that will be me after this year!

I love Etsy! I can literally spend hours browsing through different shops, discovering new unique goodies and deciding which ones to add to my home. My favorite gifts to give are coffee table books and candles, since they are both little luxuries that we don't always buy for ourselves. Oh, and I LOVE that burp cloth!

Hope you are well, Kate!

Etsy is the best! But can be so dangerous :) I love the idea of framing a wedding invitation, I just might have to do this for myself, too!
