Friday Fancies: Comfy New Years

Can you believe that it is the end of the year already? This year flew by; isn't is true that as we get older, times flies by so much faster? I hate that so much!

So for this week's Friday Fancies, we were to create an outfit fit to ring in the new year and while I am sure most people will be decked out in their night-on-the-town finest, I decided to take the comfy route for a quiet night in with my hubby and two {sleeping} boys.

Even though I'm going for something a little more relaxed, I threw in some New Year's glam with my watch, sparkly earrings and fab OPI polish. Of course, no New Year's is complete without a bottle of bubbly to cheers to another wonderful year.

2011 has been full of so many blessings, which I will recap next week, but from our move to the West Coast to the birth of our beautiful second son, it has been a wild, exciting and remarkable year. Thanks to all of you who follow along for the ride, and I will see you in 2012! Happy New Year!

Christmas Part II: The Cousins

After our Christmas at The Farm, we headed up to Kev's parents' house for more family fun on Christmas Day. I have mentioned before, but I'll tell you again, there are 7 boy cousins under the age of 5. And they were all together for this Christmas. Chaos doesn't even begin to describe the scene around here the past few days. So I'll just show you:

 

Crazy, but in the best possible way that crazy can be. I'm pretty sure that C and B are going to sleep for a week when we get back to Cali!

Christmas Part I: The Farm

Hi Friends, I have missed you! Things have been so crazy around here, but really great and now that we have a house full of sleeping little cousins and some quiet, I'm going to give you a quick Christmas re-cap.

We started Christmas Eve at my parents farm, complete with all my brothers, my mom and dad, Grandma and Grandpa Ray.

 The afternoon was spent shooting clays

 And spending time with my Goddaughter Grace and her little sister Bridget

 And we watched the sun go down in the Shenandoah.

 Late that night, we decided to have a Christmas Eve bonfire,

 And even though my parents said that watching my brothers play chicken with a lighted log wasn't exactly what they had in mind for their first farm Christmas,

 You can't deny that they look pretty happy having us all there.

 Christmas morning, my boys were so excited to see that Santa had come again.

 The best gift by far was my older brother's ball and chain, lovingly made by my little brother, Bummy.

 Cullen made sure all Bennett's gifts were working right.

And we all bought the same gifts for each other. 

 The big finale was Cullen and Bennett's kitchen for the play house my parents plan on making for the boys at the farm.
