The Simple Things

Sometimes, there are days when the big picture is a bit overwhelming, so it is focusing on the little beautiful moments that make my heart sing.

Like my favorite flowers popping up every where (and all the people who have text, emailed and tagged me in pics of daffodils- I love it!)

And my sweet lacrosse players who are going to be so annoyed the first day of their real practice (in 2 and 4 years) that the other kids don't know how to play yet.

Climbing trees,

A baby's first wagon ride,

 Three boys chatting over lunch,

And of course, in Wells' awesome electrifying hair and super rolly polly body.

The simple things and wine keep us sane, don't they?

Side note:
April is the Month of the Military Child and I want to do a link up next week, let's say Thursday, for all of us with, thinking about having, who have appreciation for and/or were raised as military children. Any type of post that deals with your experience with or appreciation for the Military Child will be welcome.
Promise I won't be the only one linking up?

Did your husband play LaCrosse? You? That's awesome!
My big thing I want Shelby to do SUPER early is, snow SKI!!
Also, I'm interested in being part of the military child post too.
While my Dad was only active duty the first 5-years of my life he was Reserve and only up until recently worked on post. :)

Aw, so cute, love Wells's hair, too cute! Daffodils, we have those growing in our garden! We had no idea what they were, Curtis just bought the bulbs at Costco and planted them. Good to know what they are! I'll have to take a picture of them for you! :)

I love every moment you capture. Like every single one of them.

I know your boys will too. Oh and your boys' girlfriends/wives. They will be forever grateful to see that their loves were ALWAYS adorable.

As a military child myself, I would love to participate in the link-up, even if I'm able to post it several days late. Busy month over here! Sometimes I'm a little jealous of your military lifestyle (those handsome uniforms, moving and adventure!) but then I remember all the many sacrifices that you and your hubby make and I stand in awe. You are one amazingly strong woman!

Also, I totally understand having to concentrate on the little things. I have to do it every once in a while too. Plus, LAX just plain rocks! I wish it was popular here in Podunk Idaho.
