An Outfit A Day (almost) This Month

Inspired by Kristin (and her Outfit a Day in May) and the positive response from my first What I Wore post, I decided to keep track of my outfits from the past month (ish).

I mentioned a while back that my summer uniform is sundresses and here is your proof:
Dress: Francesa's, Scarf from my friend Laura/
Dress: Old Navy, Necklace: My late Aunt Jean's, Water stain in the middle: I have 3 boys/
Earrings: from Jenn, Dress: Target Maternity- am I the only one who still comfortably wears maternity clothes all the time? Because mine get rocked on a weekly basis
Techinally a cover up that I decided could be a dress from Top It Off, Earrings:Francesa's/
Dress: Old Navy, Shoes: Jessica Simpson, Necklace: from my almost sister in law/
Dress:Target, Scarf: from Lauren, belt: ON, shoe-less baby: mine
I rarely wear shorts, so cropped jeans are my choice for summer. Jeans: Jcrew- black shirt: target maternity/
Green shirt: Motherhood Maternity (was clearly not lying about loving my comfy maternity wear) /
same cover up-made dress from a few days ago, sans belt and with a long necklace
My black maternity shirt again, jeans, target shoes and my new favorite Red Bandana Scarf from none other but the best gift giver ever: Lauren/
I love it so much, I wore it again the next day/
tank top: ON, Necklace: from my sis in law for her bridesmaid gift- I wear it all the time (and am wearing it in the previous picture too)
At the Farm all day in another cover up from Top It Off and what I look like without my abundance of under eye concealer and mascara- yikes/
Maxi: Just got it for $22 from ON and it is definitely a favorite, necklace: same little gold one from my sis in law/
 Dress: Target

Two outfits I forgot to take pics of during the day: first dress from TJMaxx and second from Old Navy/
And finally, a sweatpants Sunday look: Kev's sweatpants, Kev's Tshirt, a Homegoods pillow and a blog post.

So that is it- my summer look in a few pictures.
What are your go to summer staples?

3 kids, a deployed husband, and you are still looking as gorgeous as ever!! Love all your looks but the white dress with blue scarf is definitely my favorite.

I second Mrs. B.... I have 1 kid, my husband is here... and I still don't look that put together everyday. But I did curl my hair and put make up on just for my husband. That must count for something, right?! Anyway.. I love your style, all your dresses, and especially your white dress with the blue scarf.

I love this! You put together the cutest outfits. So simple, yet SO ADORABLE! It amazes me that you manage to look so "put together" every day.
My daily summer look is simply a cooler (temperature cooler, not stylishly cooler) variation of my yoga pants and cotton long sleeve T winter look… I have a boatload of these addidas running skirts (looks like a skirt, but has shorts underneath) with solid color cotton tanks. I used to wear cute skirts all summer long, but I'm always on the ground with my trio, so I've found that these sporty skirts are the perfect combo.
In the spring, I wear capri length yoga pants (Athleta are my current faces) with cotton T shirts. So yeah, I defiantly have a style, even if it isn't very stylish, haha!
I DO have a handful of cute outfits I wear if I have somewhere to go and I want to look nice, but on a daily basis, it's black on bottom and solid color cotton top.
Oh and my hair air dries and then gets put in a braid.
You are pretty much my hero for managing to look so cute everyday!

Ugh…sorry so many typos above! I typed with a baby in one hand and coffee in the other, so…you know! Hopefully you can figure out what I was trying to say, haha!

I am all about the dresses in the summer. Cotton, flowy and short is my go to.

I truly love your clothes. I'm making it a point to look for more dresses because I really hate pants. I might have 2 pairs of jeans right now…

(Did you find it to be an incredible amount of work to put those collages together? For me, I about hit my breaking point when I did that post :)

I love your style, Kate! I also live in dresses during the summer, along with flip-flops, of course.

P.S. During our evening walk last night, I almost stepped on a little garter snake! It's the first time I've ever seen one out here. I think it must be snake season or something. This one was tiny, but I still freaked out.

Yesterday we went shopping for summer dresses and I said to Annabelle, "We have to get cute dresses so Mama will look good like Kate." (For clarification I meant you, not Kate Middleton although she wears super cute clothes.) It was highly unsuccessful because while there are three thousand cute summer dresses out there, exactly two MIGHT be nursing friendly. After reading this I think I need to go back to the maternity section and see what I can find there. Apparently I will follow your fashion advice anywhere, even if it's back to the maternity section.

I thought deployments were an excuse to wear sweats every day and stop shaving your legs! I have a lot to learn.... You look phenom!

Love wearing dresses, can't wait to stop nursing so I can wear all the dresses that I have that aren't nursing friendly :) OKay I can wait cause I don't want my baby to grow up, hehe.

You are so cute, how do you pull all of this off!? If I did this post you would see the same sweatpants over and over again and maybe I'd break out my 'fancy' yoga pants on occasion.

You have some gorgeous sundresses!

And I, too, love maternity wear. Not because I have to wear it, but b/c I love how comfy they are.

(I may or may not be wearing a maternity sundress and leggings at work today...)

(I totally am.)

Love!! I'm a bit envious of your wardrobe and shopping choices. Your Target and Old Navy are much better than mine!

You are the cutest! I love wearing sundresses every chance I get because in the winter--it's always pants. I just went to a thrift shop a few weeks ago and bought this darling dress for $8 dollars. I love treating myself when I know I'm getting a great deal. My husband needed a summer wardrobe too, and I bought about 12 items for $35. Love it!
