Weekend in VA #3

Hello my friends, how are we today? Aside from dealing with a little stomach bug of Bennett's, we are doing great because this guy is with us now:
We are so happy that Kev's quarter is over and he is able to join us for the rest of the trip. He got in late on Friday night, so the boys didn't see him until Saturday morning and they were estactic.

Before picking Kev up, I went to have dinner in Georgetown with three of my best friends from high school. Laura took the bus now from NYC and we all met at Paolo for a drink, then headed to The Peacock Cafe to catch up and have dinner. I love these girls so much! Sadly, I never pulled out my good camera, but we did have the parking lot attendant snap this one with my phone before I left.

Saturday morning, we packed our bags yet again and drove a further south to my inlaws for a day of lake time and cousin time. My sister in law arrived from Washington State with her 3 boys earlier in the week, so C was thrilled to have his cousins to play with.

My older brother and his girlfriend, Caitlin came down as well to spend some time with us and have dinner.
This is my sister in law Beth with my boys and her three. My brother in law, Josh is deployed to Afganistan and she is more or less wonder woman these days.
Nana and Pop with the two youngest cousins.
Yesterday afternoon, we were back on the road to my other sister in law, Kyle's house where will we be spending the next few days. We added 3 more boys to the cousin tally (not pictured is Kyle and Pete's 17 year old foster son). You can imagine what the atmophere around here is like. The only time they sit still is to eat, otherwise, it is complete choas.

Now, time to nap before they all get up. Hope your Monday is going great!

That first picture needs to be framed. They sure love their daddy. And it's apparent the feeling is mutual! :)

So glad your hubby was finally able to make it. I know it feels so good to have the family together again. I feel like I am constantly making the choice of saying good-bye to Jesse or to my family. It's so tough! It looks like you guys are having a marvelous time!

I love how big your family is! Mine is SO small (I'm the only child, only grandchild - "family reunions" barely fill a dinner table). These pictures are so much fun, I love how happy all the boys are (but oy, I can't imagine to madness of it all!)
