We all know by now how excited I was for a real change in seasons this year and this Fall has already brought so many wonderful memories for my family.
However, yesterday afternoon was one of those unexpectedly perfect ones. No big event necessary, just a leaf pile- easily the season's greatest gift to children.
Wells loves being outside, which is a good thing since we are always out there weather permitting. He also loves to sit like this and look around, which is funny because both of the other boys hated tummy time.
How much does it look like he knows exactly what is going on and that he wants to be part of it?

Oh goodness I just wanna give Wells a big squeeze! Leaf pile looks amazing! We haven't seen one here yet. They are pretty neurotic to sweep all the leaves as they are falling off the trees. Makes for a tidy sidewalk, but I like crunching some leaves!
That leaf pile looks like so much fun! Minus the whole taking a leaf in the eye part... And Wells is just the cutest thing ever. Where did you get his hat?

Oh my gosh, I love the photos of Wells watching his brothers! It's so great how much time you spend outside with your kids :)
I love that Wells is getting his "face" now and losing the newborn face. Haley has hers now too and I could just kiss it off of her. Love the pics of the boys jumping in the leaves. So much joy!
I remember doing this as a kid! Pure joy on their faces... And Wells will be joining his big brothers soon enough! xoxo
