C-Monday and a Big Thanks!

What a great weekend. The last two falls it seems husband and I have travled from here to there almost every weekend. However, this year, we have enjoyed staying home and enjoying Winston.

Friday night husband and I went on a last minute date to Tate's Bar. I love Tate's because there is no TV, their drinks are handmade and they played 3 OAR songs in the two hours we were there. It was a nice evening, one that was definitely needed. We have such a bad habit of cracking a beer and turning on the TV and not talking to eachother as the week ends. It was a much welcomed date as we were able to just sit in the corner and talk. There might have been a moment when we discussed baby boy's favorite Sesame Street characters... but we quickly realized it and returned to real adult convos.

The rest of the weekend continued beautifully, as baby boy rocked his AU jersey and played with Frank.

And thankfully, Auburn pulled out an undeserved win on a botched field goal attempt from Clemson.

On Sunday we headed out to Hanging Rock State Park and did a 2.5 mile hike to the top of the mountain and back. Baby Boy did a great job, although he spent the majority of time on our shoulders!

We also saw that fall was getting closer.

And took a family portrait on an empty trail.

And now on to a Big Thanks... THANK YOU dear friends for all your comments last week. I once had a professor in college who told us "of course writers are vain, we actually believe that people give a crap about what we say."And that is true, nothing validates a blogger like comments! I appreciate all your feeback and encouragement. Keep 'em coming!

Hope you had a great weekend and are off to a beautiful week!
