Happy Monday my friends! We had a jam packed and wonderful weekend. We have early signs of Spring in NC and it makes me so very happy. We thought about taking C to the circus, but after checking out ticket prices (ridiculously expensive for a family activity!), we opted to head to the
Greensboro Natural Science Center and had a great day there. I had no idea this was even in town until a friend from work suggested we check it out. It was like a mini zoo and our little adventurer just loved it.
This was the biggest turkey I have ever seen. He just wandered around the property- C thought it was so funny.

C and I rode a bug. In this picture he is saying "hoor-ay!"

He also adored the petting zoo portion.

Isn't this tiger gorgeous? He was enjoying the spring-like weather as much as us!

There are two monkeys in the background of this picture. Cullen didn't want to leave this exhibit. One little girl came running up and said "Hey Momma, them lions!" and Cullen looks over and said "No, Monkeys!" He is a jungle animal junkie.

And back to the really friendly sheep.

What a great Saturday!
Yesterday, we headed down to Charlotte to have brunch at
The Pewter Rose with my darling Alysa.

Then she and I headed to
The Sleepy Poet while the boys linked up with classmate of Kev's. But more on that tomorrow! Hope your week is off to a great start!
