Hey everyone! This is Katie from Miss Dixie, and I can't tell you how happy I was that Kate asked me to post over at Daffodils. Her blog is adorable and I love getting my daily dose of her sweet family and beautiful photography! I have had such a good time getting to know her through this blog world and we are both convinced in real life we would be best friends!

As part of my 14 Days of Things I Love series, I am going to share my favorite "Pink" inspired photos for your home. This really originates from my favorite issue of House Beautiful ever.

Remember this one?

Yes, I thought you might remember!  I still flip back through it if I need inspiration. I have always loved pink, but stick to it mostly in my wardrobe and accessories. When I got married, I made peace with the fact that I would probably never paint a room pink {with respect for my husband} and also try to to act my age in my new grownup house. After reading this magazine cover to cover, I decided I had to incorporate some pink into my home. Pink was no longer just a frou frou color to me, nor too girlish for a home with a man in it. I decided to paint our guest bath/powder room a soft pink/coral and a year later, I am still in love with it. One of my best choices so far! Take a look at these images...they may or may not change your mind on pink too!

Like I mentioned before, I still love my paint choice for our guest bath...and no complaints from the husband either, might I add! As House Beautiful stated in their issue last year, pink is warm, flattering and men love it! Well...maybe some men, but that's enough reasons to make "pink" top my list of things I love.So what do you think? Are you smitten with pink like me? I would love for you to stop by sometime and hear your thoughts! Thanks again for having me Kate, I had a great time sharing this post with you and your lovely readers! xo, Katie
