Family visiting makes me so happy! Kev's mom arrived Saturday morning to San Jose airport and was greeted with some big hugs, followed promptly by "Nana, you have any presents in your bag for me?"
Just in case you were wondering who Bennett looks like, here is your answer:
We took Nana out for lunch and beers on Cannery Row:
And to our beautiful church, the Carmel Mission:
Then decided to head south for the scenic drive on Highway 1:
And stopped for lunch and bloody marys and to take in the view:
Of course C is versing Nana is everything she needs to know about Thomas the Train:
And books:
Bennett tired on his new clothes (there were presents in that bag after all):
Cullen convinced Nana to play ball, which is almost as surprising as my dad going down slides:
We caught the sunset:
And that has been just the first day and a half.
Hope your weekend was full of blessings too!

Ok, I do have to state the obvious here...your kids are ADORABLE! So sweet and so much joy for them to have their grandma around ;)
Thanks for inviting us to a glimpse of your time together!
my nephew is 2 and is ALL about thomas...even his bday was at an old train depot. i can relate.
that scenic drive view is absolutely gorgeous! i'm so glad y'all had a good time together - moments with family are so very precious.
Oh my jealous! I love where you live!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Growing up we spent every Thanksgiving in Carmel, my parents have a time-share condo on the 17 Mile Drive. I haven't been in a few years (now spend Thanksgiving with my inlaws) but my parents are gearing up for their annual 2 weeks there. Now I want to go so we could meet up! :)
