Good morning lovlies, how are we today? I have just a few minutes to get a post up and in the spirit of Thanksgiving, thought I would share a few things I am thankful for this week.
1. That my mother in law is getting such quality time with our boys. We have been so busy that I forgot to take pictures yesterday! But it is a special thing to have her here all to ourselves and we are really enjoying ourselves.
2. Blogging. I know this is kind of a silly thing to say, but I am really, really thankful for the blogging community. I enjoy writing mine and I enjoy reading others. I was actually explaining to my mother in law the other day, in my world right now, I have very few moments that are purely 'mine' and my blog is one of them. I love that it helps me find the good in everyday and connect with people I otherwise would have known. I am so thankful for each and every one of you who is reading this and commenting and making it feel worthwhile. Thank you, thank you!
3. Surprise packages. I got a little box in the mail the other day from my friend Katie back in Winston. She said she had been thinking of me and put together a hodgepodge of things, inlcuding coozies, a cigar and a pashmina from her wedding that we sadly couldn't make it to, a little bowl from her honeymoon in Spain, napkins that she made for gameday
and like a watch. No really, this watch in fact:
She saw I mentioned it on here and she had it but was going to sell it, so she just sent it to me. I mean, who does that? I cried opening it all because I miss having real friends who really know me. So I'm thankful for Katie for being so wonderful. You should go buy something from her Etsy shop so she knows just how awesome she is. (Or hire her to party plan for you if you are in anywhere in the mid-atlantic! Visit her facebook page here to see the amazingness that she creates! And check out the party she threw us last spring by clicking here.)
Ok, like I said, had to be quick this morning, but just wanted to share the love I am feeling in my heart.

What are you feeling thankful for today?
PS- It is also my dad's birthday and my parents' anniversary and I'm thankful for his life and their strong marriage every day, but I thought it would be fun to embarrass my mom by giving them a shout-out.
Way to go Joan and Fritz! {Insert awkward hug}
