O Friday, I am glad you are here again. Will you be celebrating St Patrick's Day? We have a few friends coming over for corned beef and cabbage and of course, some green beers. The outfit I created for Friday Fancies is almost exactly what I plan on wearing tomorrow.
1. I bought a pair of smiliar skinnies (Skinny jeans, $76) from Old Navy yesterday for $25 and I can't wait to wair them. The ON 'rockstar' skinnies come in a fantastic array of colors, but true to some other blogger reviews, they do run really small, so don't be suprised to go up a size or two if you go get yourself some.
2. Since my pants are pretty loud, I am pairing them with a basic white T like this (Precis Petite cap sleeve t shirt, £19)
3. I love the idea of pairing this outfit with a jean jacket (Rag bone jean jacket, $265) but I got rid of mine after college. I will probably wear a black cardi instead.
4. I'll be topping my St Patty's Day ensemble off with black pumps (House of Harlow 1960 black pumps, $250), some fun green earrings (Juicy Couture yellow gold stud earrings, $21), a scarf (Linen shawl, $20) and pretty mint nails (Essie nail polish, $8).

I love those green jeans. I'm hitting up Old Navy this weekend. I got, similar, tangerine skinnies at Aerie last week and I had to go up 3 sizes. Buying those things definitely takes a hit at your body image...until you realize everyone else is in the same boat :)

I am so jealous that you actually own green jeans! I've used them twice in my Friday's Fancies already (including today!), but I doubt I'll ever build up the confidence to buy some. *sigh*
P.S. I'm guessing that's Monterey Bay Aquarium? How fun! I grew up less than two hours away from Monterey, so we went there for many a school trip. :)

I tried on the Old Navy skinnies in pink and they did not fit at all!! They were out of the size I needed (which was two full sizes bigger than my usual)! So I went to Forever 21 across the street and found some for the same price and in the right size. :)

What is Old Navy thinking??? They're supposed to mislabel jeans so that your normal size is TOO BIG, not too small. Duh. I guess I will sit around in my black yoga pants and wait on them to offer me a job as Head Of Marketing And Other Big Decisions. And when they do, I will inquire as to whether than plan on making green yoga pants anytime soon. We pregnant ladies would like to keep up with the trends too, ya know. ;)

I think I say this every time I see a pair of fabulous heels, but I wish I was just a little shorter so I wouldn't feel like such a GIANT in heels! Heels are always go pretty!
I LOVE that your outfits aren't totally overwhelming with green! I love St. Patrick's Day, but I hate being all green - I guess it's just not my color! The little pop of green is such a great accessory with that jacket - LOVE it!
