I am not sure exactly when it happened, but as of Monday morning, I am 29. I think I stopped counting around 23, although my sister in law informed me yesterday that she thought I was 26, which I also think it is fair assessment.

 While I find it hard to believe that I am entering the last year of my twenties, I am also in awe by how much has happened in this seemingly short decade 
(a quick parenthetical recap: lived in my sorority dorm, graduated college, fell in love, got married at 23, taught HS English, strengthened my love through a 15 month separation and deployment, moved to NC, got pregs, threw up a lot, had Cullen, taught Pre-K, got pregs again, threw up some more, had Bennett, moved to Cali, hated Cali, loved Cali, started taking good pictures, realized I turned 29.) 

As of today, I've embraced it. How could you not with a face like this?

 Friday, we did a little happy hour over looking the ocean.

 While the kids had fun running along the golf course.

 Saturday morning, Kev went for a long run to train for his half marathon in a few weeks, while I watched Auburn fail and let the house become a normal Saturday mess.

 Saturday afternoon we had a neighborhood Oktoberfest party.

  Soph showed off her cute baby sliding.

 While the Daddies did official Dad stuff by drinking beers at the park.

 The kids posed for a second on the stairs

 And I sneaked in a picture with the 3 best hostesses around.

On Sunday, the family and I headed down the road to Ventana for wine tasting and family cheer's.

 Airplanes are not only exciting for little boys, but big boys too.

And heels aren't just for non-moms.

 Bennett cleaned his palette

 In between looking at more planes.

And agreeing to take one nice picture for my birthday.

And that is all I need.
