Friday!

Hello, friends.

Thanks for all your kinds words for less snot in our household. Things are slowly drying up, in fact, we will have one big boy back at school Friday, so that is a win.

After a long few days, I ended my Thursday like this (with an later side of blogging):
Not too shabby.

In other news, it rained Thursday (actual real raindrops, not foggy Monterey mist) for the first time since last November. We were leaving the library, unprepared for it, and soon as Bennett walked out from under the roof, he stopped, touched his head, looked to the sky, touched his head again and then looked at me for explanation.

Cullen beat me to it by exclaiming "Bubb-a! It's not a sprinkler. It is rain! From rain clouds!!"

Let's not discuss how sad I was that I didn't have my camera with me.

Bubba's first rainstorm. Check.

PS If I haven't been to your blog or answered emails in the last few days, I am sorry! My computer died and we haven't gotten a new one yet. Hopefully we will get it sorted out over the weekend and I will be back in regular action next week. Have a great weekend! What are you up to?

that's so sweet, you forget that little ones may not have experienced certain weather. So pleased they are feeling a bit better, and hope you have a good weekend

Ugh. Watching your kiddos suffer (even a little bit) is one of the saddest aspects of parenting. Poor little guys. Glad to hear they are feeling better. Oh...and Anna Karenina? You go, girl ;)

Yay for some rain drops! And I hope your computer is resurrected soon. That can be no fun at all.

We are having a party today. I should post about this on the blog. You're more than welcome to come if you can though. But you must wear yoga pants. ;)

Hope you will have a nice weekend without any rain.

what a precious memory of Bennet's first rainstorm, I keep wanting to take Elyse out in the rain...but it's always lightening when it rains, probably not the best momma decision to take her out in the rain during a thunderstorm! ha!

Anna Karenina...SO GOOD. I'm reading all the Sherlock Holmes stories right now, and I'm LOVING them!

Happy weekend to you!
