And making Halloween sugar cookies.
Way back in 2010, when I first attempted and failed at sugar cookies, my dear friend Cate referred to me as Martha Stewart, but the jail bird kind.
Several years later, I feel that I am at least House Arrest Martha. Can we agree?
We all have to have goals, right?
Ok, and honestly, we have done a lot more than that this week, but I was more in the mood for simply spending time with my boys than taking pictures, so this is all I have to show. (To be honest: by 'a lot more' I really mean 'I didn't take my camera to the playground.')

Y'all are so sweet!! As petrified as Sam is of our creepy mailman (truth be told, he is quite the weirdo), I love getting mail!! Ah you just made this 3am feeding a lot better. (Molly says "hello!") :)

I love that the boys are full in helping, covered in flour and cookie dough, enjoying every bite. The cookies look super yummy!!!

I haven't made cookies yet with Max (well like I have time to cook / bake - but I'd really like to MAKE time to bake), but I plan to during this Holiday season.
I'm imagining getting all of things fun things done while on maternity leave with Max and Sadie - hah, I'm probably in for a reality check.

Those cookies look pretty good! I haven't made sugar cookies before. Might have to try that this week instead of the chocolate chip I usually make.

Care packages are the best! We send quite a few. Doesn't have to be anything big but thoughtful! I gave up in sugar cookies a few years ago...sad but I'm lazy and mine never came out right.

I really love this post. What sweet pictures of your kids making cookies and packing care packages! I love receiving mail, and I also love sending it. Getting non-commercial or bill mail is the most exciting!
