You've Been Boo'ed!

Last year, our neighbor Tina began an October 'Boo' around our neighborhood. The premise is you buy a little Halloween bucket and surprise a neighbor by leaving it on the front step, then they do it for another friend, and on and on, until everyone has a ghost taped to their front door.

Since Tina moved a few weeks ago, we decided to take charge and start this year's boo-ing.

Our basket (it had candy at the bottom too)
And here is the printable (poorly printed) from www.beenbooed.com
Cullen was SO excited to surprise his friend Hannah.
He left the gift on the porch, knocked on the door, then ran around the corner to hide.
And then this picture happened. Is there anything better than simple joy? I think not.
What a great little tradition, isn't it? We can't wait to see the ghosts going up across the neighborhood.

Will you be Boo-ing this year?

Oh my gosh, little kids hugging... One of the cutest things on the planet... Especially when one of those kids is Cullen, who is arguably one of the cutest kids alive.

Such a fun tradition! I love how exciting this is for him. I've already been warned we'll be booed by our new neighbors.

How cute! What a fun idea.

We didn't take Max trick or treating last year - he couldn't even walk (and we don't really live in a neighborhood - we live in Townhomes in the city).

We plan / hope to take him this year!

PS - of course now the issue is he has no interest in wearing the costume I got him.

Kids hugging is the greatest thing on earth. For some reason, I see a different blog post when Cullen is 16 and hugging a little lady...love to see that one ;).

Yes!!! Except we usually drop the goodies and run, but I like your style better. I also like that you put non-candy items in the basket, so cute.
