Black and White

Don't you love a good black and white photo? Every time I upload pictures, I go through and make edits, often switching them into black and white just to see if it enhances the photo. I love the way that the removal of color can actually make the photo better.

Like in this photo of C climbing up a ladder, with a rare sunny day behind him.

Or this one, taken on the same day. It is one of my new favorite pictures, partly because it has all 3 of my boys in it, and partly because I finally figured out how to really blur the background.

But the best black and white on my hard drive is hands down from the first time Cullen and Bennett met. I was so worried C wouldn't get it, or would be jealous, but I was so wrong. Look at that love and fascination. One of the best moments of my life so far.
