Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was so good that I didn't take a single picture with my big camera all weekend. I think that's the first time that has ever happened. But I did snag a few with my phone, so don't worry, this won't be a pictureless post.
We spent our weekend making more forts:
And trying to teach Bennett (and his chins) how to sit up like a big boy:
Bennett has also not been sleeping well (teeth? growth spurt? He doesn't like me?) and it makes him inconsolably grumpy. This is his mad face:
But luckily, his happy face is still around too. He proudly displayed his orange and blue on Saturday despite Auburn's terrible loss:
We have tried just about every Catholic church in Monterey and weren't really feeling like home at any of them. Yesterday we headed back to Carmel Mission to try it again and the homily was all about taking risks and not missing out on exciting opportunities and be sure to live life to the fullest so you'll never wonder 'what if'. Funny how God kinda knows what you need to hear hunh? And just in case you were wondering, the boys wore matching sweater vests (and there were doughnuts afterwards)
After church Cullen suckered us in to taking him to a shopping center pumpkin patch full of inflatable fun. See him going down this slide? It was really big, definitely something he would normally be scared of. I was so proud of him!
And my boys snuggled with their teddy bears. I don't think I ever told you the teddy story did I? C got his blue teddy at the hospital when he was born and will not sleep without it. The first day he came to the hospital to see Bennett, he got very upset that the baby was asleep and didn't have a teddy and told my mom they had to go buy one. They went down to the store and he picked out a smaller version of the same teddy he has, came back upstairs, threw it in the bassinet and said "now baby can go night-night".

How was your weekend? Are you off work today? Kev has the day off, so we are looking forward to getting a little extra time together and having some new friends over for dinner tonight!
And a big HI and THANKS to all my new follows from last week. I'm so happy you are here :)
